Mr. Kiniry:
We
appreciated your visit to Oakland, California to attend
the Cal/OSHA Senior Safety Engineer's Staff Meeting. The
presentation familiarized the staff with your safety products.
We were particularly interested in the BAYNETS products
that are used to prevent workers falling into vehicle
service pits.
Title
8, California Code of Regulations, section 3213(a), Service
Pits and Yard Surface Openings states:
After
some discussion we have concluded that the BAYNETS safety
netting system serves as a service pit cover for vehicle
maintenance bays when installed and used according to
the manufacturer's instructions.
